Midland Alan 42 DS CB walkie-talkie

The Midland Alan 42 DS is a handy and sturdy 27MC walkie-talkie that is ideally suited for use when camping, traveling or during long hikes or survival trips. With the noise suppression it is easier to receive calls clearly from a greater distance, and the ANL filter ensures that the audio is always as clear as possible.

Another big plus is that this walkie-talkie can be powered in three ways: by 6 AA batteries, via the mains voltage using rechargeable batteries or via the connection for the car cigarette lighter. Apart from the batteries themselves, everything is included with the Alan 42 DS and you do not have to buy anything separately!

Of course, the walkie-talkie comes with a rock-solid antenna (19.5 cm long), but if you already have an antenna, it can be connected using the same adapter that is also used for the power supply in the car.

The Alan 42 DS is ready to use out of the box and has the 40 European channels pre-programmed on both AM and FM. With the push of a button you can switch between high (4W) and low (1W) transmit power, and in case of emergency you can use the EMG function to lock the radio on channel 9 (the European emergency channel). It also comes with an easy to use scan function and you can use the Dual Watch also monitor two channels at the same time.

Including battery module and excluding antenna, the dimensions are 7.2 x 4.6 x 14.5 cm.
