Long range distress signaling flare, day and night. Designed to withstand extreme environmental exposure and perform reliably even after immersion in water. Features an improved grip for easy handling and complies with SOLAS 74/88. The flare propels a red flare attached to a parachute up to 300 meters in height that burns for 40 seconds anda bright light produces to attract attention.The light intensity of the signal is 30,000 candela. This is equal to 30,000 candles. The flare can be seen up to 24 kilometers away.
Application
Day and night, long range distress signal used to determine position once a potential rescuer is in sight.
How does it work?
- Unscrew the red end cap.
- Hold firmly at arm's length, vertically above the head.
- Turn the head away and pull the gag.
The rocket will be ejected immediately with a loud sound and a slight recoil. Make sure that the the rocket is not aimed at people or objects.
Storage requirements
Ideally stored in the robust, specially designed poly bottle, or in a dry, easily accessible place at ambient temperature.
