Order an advanced full face gas mask from the brand 3M here. The 3M 6000 is a reusable full face gas mask with replaceable filters, equipped with a durable silicone rubber face piece. The mask offers protection against dust particles and many gases and vapours (filter class/protection level: ABEK1P3). This mask can also be used with an air supply system. All parts of this full face gas mask can be replaced for maximum durability and quality.

The entire 6000 series is easy to handle and very comfortable. The new exhalation opening provides extra durability and is easy to keep clean. This gas mask is delivered without filters. Corresponding filters: 3M Gas/vapour filter 2 pieces 6059 ABEK1.

Points of attention for respiratory protection

• A mask should completely cover the mouth and nose and fit snugly against the face. If you have a beard, keep in mind that the beard will prevent the mask from fitting optimally. This can reduce the degree of protection by 50%!
• The filter of the mask (or in the case of a dust mask, the entire mask) must be replaced in time. When a filter becomes saturated, it will no longer provide optimal protection. The end of the life of gas/vapour filters is announced by the smell, taste, and feel of traces of contamination by the user.
• The lifespan of a filter depends on the different circumstances in which such a filter is used. However, there are some factors that influence the lifespan of a filter, such as the concentration of the contamination, combination of contaminants, breathing rate of the user, humidity, temperature and duration of use. Due to the different factors, it is not possible to give an estimated lifespan.
• Do not remove the mask until you have left the area containing fine dust, mist or gas.
• Have masks checked annually. Approved masks are provided with a test certificate. This means you meet the legal requirements for respiratory protection.
