Aqua Logic Gravity-CS-Ultra-Filter-Set gravity water filter

This Aqua Logic Gravity-CS-Ultra-Filter-Set is a gravity water filter that is not only ideal for emergency situations, but also for camping or for use at home.

How does the Aqua Logic Gravity-CS-Ultra-Filter-Set work?

To purify water with this filter, place the two buckets on top of each other with the intermediate lid in between. In the upper bucket, mount a filter element and in the lower water container, mount the tap. When you put the dirty water (from the ground, river or ditch) in the upper bucket, it will drip through the filter to the lower bucket by gravity. With the tap, you can then drain the clean, filtered water.

CS-Ultra filter element

The filter consists of a 0.03 micron ultra-membrane filter and 100% organic (coconut bark) activated carbon coated with nano silver. This filters protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium) and bacteria (including cholera, typhoid, legionella and E. coli) from the water with an effectiveness of > 99.9999%. The filter is also impregnated with colloidal (nano) silver. This nano silver is applied to the outside of the filter, which consists of activated carbon. This coating inhibits the growth of bacteria and micro-organisms on the filter. Shelf life and lifespan

When not in use the filter has a virtually unlimited shelf life, provided you store it in a cool, dry and dark place. With continuous use the lifespan approximately 1 year (depending on how polluted the water you are filtering is), then you should replace the filter element.

Cleaning

Because the filter is equipped with an integrated cleaning pad (the brown band) you can easily clean it by moving the cleaning pad over the filter surface and then flushing away the dirt. You should also do this if the flow rate of the filter element decreases. The filter also works without the addition of chemicals and it is constructed from maintenance-free and corrosion-free parts.
