Complete set-up for an optimally functioning system

For a fully functioning system you need at least 2 batteries of 2.56 kWh necessary, together with a BYD HVS/HVM Battery Control Unit (BCU). You can expand the system to a stack of 5 modules. So the smallest is 5.12kWh and the largest 12.8kWh.This forms the basis of your energy storage system. If you need more storage capacity later, you can easily add extra modules to expand the system. And je can connect up to 3 stacks in parallel! Which means you can reach a maximum capacity of 38.4kWh! This makes it suitable for all needs.

The Fronius Symo GEN24 4.0 Plus Hybrid Inverter is a specific recommended inverter that works seamlessly with the BYD HVS battery. This inverter also offers a back-up function, so you can continue to use your stored energy even during a power outage. Here are the main reasons why you need the inverter:

1. Conversion of energy: The battery stores direct current (DC), while your home and most electrical appliances use alternating current (AC). The inverter converts the DC power from the battery to AC power, so you can use it to power your appliances and lights.
