Terms and Conditions

1. Free access to the installation location

Make sure that the place where the home battery is to be placed is easily accessible. The battery can be placed in various places in your home, such as in the garage, utility room, technical room or basement, provided that these spaces are easily accessible for the installers and there is sufficient space for the equipment.

2. Preparation by you

Before installation, it is important to make certain preparations. The space where the battery is to be installed must be empty and accessible. If there are obstacles or other objects in the way, they can delay or complicate the installation. In addition, the space must be sufficiently ventilated to prevent the battery from overheating. Also check that there is sufficient lighting for the installers to be able to work safely and efficiently.

3. Wiring between the home battery and the meter cupboard

The home battery must be within a certain distance of the meter cupboard, ideally no further than 10 meters. The cabling between the meter cupboard and the location of the battery must already be in place before installation takes place. This means that you will need to pull two cables to your meter cupboard: an AC cable (3-core for a single-phase connection or 5-core for a three-phase connection) and a CAT internet cable. We do not install additional cabling as part of the standard installation, so this must be arranged in advance.

4. Any adjustments to the meter cupboard will be charged separately.

If during installation it appears that your meter box is not suitable for the battery, for example because extra groups or an earth leakage circuit breaker are needed, we will make these adjustments. The costs for the materials are at your expense. This can include, among other things, placing new protections or adjustments to the wiring. The costs of small materials, such as screws, cables, connectors, and all other mounting materials that are necessary for a successful installation, are included.

5. If you have solar panels

If you plan to connect the home battery to your existing solar panel installation, it is important that this installation functions correctly and is compatible with the battery. For this you need a hybrid inverter necessary. A hybrid inverter is specifically designed to manage both solar and battery power. If your current inverter is not a hybrid model, it will need to be replaced to work properly with the home battery.

If you need a hybrid inverter and purchase it from us, we can also take care of the installation. This ensures that both the home battery and the inverter are optimally connected and functioning.

6. Restrictions on installation locations

The installation of the home battery can not take place in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Limburg, Overijssel and Zeeland. This means that, regardless of the specific circumstances, we cannot offer installation services in these areas. We advise you to contact local installers in these provinces for support. Outside the Netherlands we do not offer the service anyway.

7. Warranty on the installation

We offer a 1-year warranty on the installation itself. This means that if any defects occur within this year as a result of the installation, we will repair them free of charge. Please note that the warranty on the home battery itself is determined by the manufacturer and may vary depending on the make and model of the battery.
