Katadyn BeFree foldable water filter

The Katadyn BeFree is a very light, compact and user-friendly water filter that provides you with clean and safe drinking water anywhere and anytime. The bottle is made of flexible material that you can easily roll up if you want to put the filter in your bag. Fill the bottle with water and squeeze the bottle to force the water through the filter. You can drink the filtered water directly through the easily closed mouthpiece.

The filter element removes bacteria, cysts, sediments and other particles larger than 0.1 microns. With this filter you can filter up to 1000 liters of water at a rate of 2 liters per minute. This does depend on how polluted the water is. If there are many solid particles floating in the water, it is always better to first pass it through a cloth, t-shirt or other coarse filter before putting it in your Katadyn BeFree.

The filter is easy to clean by rinsing it with clean water, for example when you are back home. You don't need the filterto flush with clean water to clean it, as you have to do with some other filters.
