Light My Fire Firesteel Bio Scout

This Light My Fire Firesteel Bio Scout is a firesteel in the color Rusty Orange, which was originally specially developed for the Swedish army. It is the first firestarter (in English "firestarter") made of magnesium in the form of a rod. With this you can produce sparks of an average of 3000 °C with the help of the included stainless steel scraper. The LMF Firesteel Bio Scout is good for no less than 3,000 times of ironing.

This firesteel performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-poor air and also works well when wet. Can be used for numerous applications, from lighting a gas stove to starting a campfire. Handy: the Light My Fire Firesteel Bio Scout is also equipped with an emergency whistle! That makes this fire starter an indispensable tool for survival and bushcraft.

Material

This product is made of biobased plastic. With a view to a better future, Light My Fire will use only biobased plastic for the production of their products from 2019 onwards. "Biobased" refers to materials made from biomass extracted from plant-based raw materials such as corn, sugar cane and cellulose. The packaging is also made of 100% recyclable or reusable material.
