NRG-5 Zero is a variant of the classic NRG-5 emergency ration. Both emergency rations do not contain any ingredients of animal origin and are GMO and lactose free. However, unlike NRG-5, NRG-5 Zero is also gluten free - the main ingredient is rice. This makes it the most compact vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free emergency ration available on the market.

With 2,325 kcal (or 9,650 kJ) per 500 gram packet and plenty of nutrients, NRG-5 Zero provides everything an adult needs to survive for one day. In an emergency, it can even feed adults for 2 days with minimal effort.
